our history

Onirica Productions began in Boston, Massachusetts in 2011 where we worked with a vast number of clients and collaborators such as Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston College, Community Supported Films, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Harvard University.

The immense landscape of Arizona, the vast and rich histories and prehistory of this region and the unique culture of the borderlands compelled us to move our company to Bisbee in 2015. Since then, we have immersed ourselves with getting to know and being part of the border communities -- by making films as well as through direct action.

Working with local grassroots organizations is part of our commitment to get immersed in the histories and cultures of our neighbourhoods and communities thus giving our video production a unique and intimate point of view.

Currently Onirica Productions is producing a feature length documentary about a binational team of migrant workers at the only migrant shelter in Agua Prieta. It is also producing a short film about the important painter Peter Young, who has been an integral part of the Bisbee arts and culture community since the early 1970s.
